Last night, I saw this talk show on TV. I think it was so beautiful.
There was a man sitting on wheel chair. Yes he was sick. And the audiences ask him many questions. Only one question hit my thoughts.
"How did you conquer your sickness, deal your feeling,.... Many people around the world feel so desperate and feel so sorry about them self when they find out that their sickness are hardly to be cured? They feel so hopeless.... No life lies beyond them..."
He answered so gently,"Allah has promised in Al Qur'an that every illness and sickness always have their medicines. HIV is included in this area. In Indonesia, only one doctor has this kind of specialization. Yes, I know that my sickness will be such a burden for me and my family. But I don't want to be treated as a sick people. I asked them to treat me as usual just like when I was healthy and fine. But there is one more secret that I have to tell you all that we have such a power that no body around the world could deny it. Our mind. We might make our mind just like what we want it to be. That is the power of thinking. Wise people said that you might have my hands, you might have my body, its ok as long as you don't have my mind.
As long as I still have my free mind then I will be free at all."
What a philosophy...!!! We made everything through our mind. We were dreaming, what if we went to the moon. How do we fly to sky like birds. And another what if.......
And we can through it all just by thinking and doing it. Just make it happen.
This man is putting a thought in his mind that he is not sick at all and he doesn't want to be treated as a sick man. Just do your daily activity as usual. Then you will be free...
